Carlos Guillén Castillo
Carlos graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and studied Intellectual Property Law at the Graduate Studies Division (División de Estudios de Posgrado) of the same School, obtaining honors.
His professional experience began in the Federal Judicial Brand, where from the first semesters of his degree he worked in collegiate courts in criminal and administrative matters. Subsequently, Carlos decided to go into independent practice as a postulant lawyer, focusing on commercial, administrative and intellectual property litigation.
In the area of intellectual property, Carlos is a partner of the Inter-American Copyright Institute (Instituto Interamericano del Derecho de Autor) and is an authorized arbitrator for the National Copyright Institute (Nacional del Derecho de Autor).
Since his beginnings in the private sector, Carlos has successfully worked in the intellectual property and business law litigation areas. This has enabled him to successfully advise and handle complex commercial disputes.

Aníbal Jesús García Cotonieto
Aníbal graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where he also studied Intellectual Property Law. His professional experience started from the first semesters of his degree, since he had the opportunity to combine his studies with the provision of services in the Federal Judicial Branch, in collegiate courts specialized in administrative matters, until he obtained his law degree.
Once graduated, he obtained the rank of Secretary of a Circuit Court or District Court, by means of a competitive examination before the Instituto de la Judicatura Federal, which allowed him to work, for more than ten years, as Drafting Secretary in several Collegiate Courts in Administrative Matters, one of them specialized in Antitrust, Broadcasting and Telecommunications matters, with jurisdiction throughout the Mexican Republic.
Naturally, the exercise of his functions as a public servant for more than fifteen years within the Federal Judicial Branch, allowed him to focus on the study of administrative matters, as well as amparo and constitutional law.
The experience acquired by Aníbal during more than fifteen years in the analysis of contentious matters in the jurisdictional bodies in which he rendered his professional services constitutes an asset of great value for the firm, as it provides a broad, solid and conscious perspective of the different scenarios that may arise in the execution of the strategies we design to solve each case.

Associates
Iván Ruíz García
He has a solid academic background, with a Master’ Degree in Constitutional Law and Human Rights granted by the Universidad Panamericana. In addition, he is a specialist in Labor Law and Labor Justice graduated from the Escuela Federal de Formación Judicial of the Federal Judicial Branch, and obtained his Law Degree from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
In his activity as a litigator and legal advisor, Iván has provided his services to a wide range of industries, including real estate, outsourcing, restaurants, construction, clinical laboratories, insurance institutions, financial services and governmental agencies. His experience in labor and social security matters allows him to solve complex challenges with a solid perspective and unwavering commitment.

Alejandro Pérez Jardines
Academic background
Alejandro graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. During his undergraduate studies, he completed an exchange at the Universidad de Jaén, Spain; subsequently, he completed a diploma in Business Law and is currently a postgraduate student at the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, specializing in Intellectual Property Law.
Experience and professional practice
He has been working for the form more than 3 years, specializing in the corporate and intellectual property areas, in which he has more than 7 years of experience.
His professional practice focuses on advising on the protection and exercise of intellectual property rights, the observance of the legal framework in this field and, on the other hand, on consultancy and advice for the incorporation of civil and commercial companies, the development of daily activities of a company and the analysis, negotiation and drafting of all types of contracts, with a comprehensive vision.
